Cup cake..!! Loved by everyone… no age bar…! I just love mawa badam flavored ice cream since my childhood. I gave Indian touch to cup cake by adding fresh mawa. Here we are presenting variation of cup cake – Mawa badam cup cake.

Preparation time : 12-15 min
Baking time : 10-15 min
Baking temperature : 1800c

Ingredients :
  • 120 gm all purpose flour ( maida )
  • 60 gm powder sugar
  • 20 gm almond ( coarsely grind )
  • 60 ml milk
  • 60 gm milk solid ( Khoya / Kova / Mawa )
  • 60 gm milk powder
  • 20 gm butter
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • ¼ tsp saffron
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp cooking soda
  • 6-7 almonds for garnishing.

Method :
  • Measure all ingredients.
  • Soak saffron in milk.
  • Strain flour, baking powder and soda.
  • Beat butter and sugar for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add milk and milk solids. Gently fold it.
  • Add milk powder, flour mixture, cardamom powder and crushed almond. Gently fold it.
  • Don’t over mix.
  • Pour equal quantity of the batter into 6 greased and dusted ( or use cup cake liner ) 68 mm. (2½”) diameter aluminum molds. ( approx 65 gm in one portion ) .
  • Garnish with almonds.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 1800c  for 10 -15 minutes. Insert a toothpick or knife in the cup cake. If it comes out clean your cup cake is ready.
  • Allow it to cool completely and serve.
