Parathas….!! It’s not only one of the most favorite breakfast meal but also healthy dinner.  This is not the usual vegetable stuffed paratha recipe but a lot easier and different recipe that makes equally tasty, soft, chewy and delicious parathas !!!!!



Servings – 4-5 
No. of Parathas  - 20-22
Preparation time : 25-30 min
Cooking time : 40-45 min

Ingredients : 
  • 2 cup cabbage ( grated )
  • 2 cup potatoes ( boiled and mashed ) ( approx 4 medium size parathas )
  • 3/4th cup onions ( fine chopped )
  • ½ cup carrot ( grated )
  • ½ cup beetroot ( grated )
  • ½ cup spinach  ( fine chopped )
  • 1 tsp ginger ( grated )
  • 1 tbsp garlic ( grated )
  • 2 green chilies ( fine chopped )
  • 1/4th cup coriander ( fine chopped )
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 ½ tsp salt ( approx )
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • 3 tbsp fresh garam masala 
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • Oil for cooking

Method : 
  • Mix all above ingredients and make a dough.
  • Immediately divide dough in 20 equal portions.
  • Roll out each portion of the dough.  ( 10 cm ) diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
  • Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each paratha, using a little oil, till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides.
  • Serve hot with curds and pickle of your choice.
